Lame

Woke up early to start working on homework. Had a supervisor meeting at work from 2-3. Got on the 3:45 train leaving downtown, which was supposed to get in at 5pm. I figured I would have a ton of time to get homework done because the train is a wonderful homework spot. Then the train broke down. Then I spent twenty minutes standing outside in the cold halfway to the suburbs. Finally, a second train came around 5pm. Everyone was loaded onto the train, but it was so full there was no homework time at all. A complete disaster. Between waiting for everything to settle down and getting all of the passengers boarded who had been waiting for the train that broke down AND the train that was behind it (during rush hour, mind you) I finally arrived to Crystal Lake at 6:30pm. That gave my brother and me just enough time to drive to the elementary school that Kaylee’s first band concert was at. It went until 8. I just got home.

Upside to today:
I was able to attend Kaylee’s first band performance, which is really great and I know was important to her.
Downside to today: I now have a five page essay to write, about eight hours of Spanish homework to do, and a huge Spanish test to study for that is taking place tomorrow morning.

I am so tired. I need to shower, eat, and want to sleep more than anything…

): fucking metra.
